Randy Zweiban Opening Province in Phoenix
Following a couple of years of solid accolades, Province chef/owner Randy Zweiban is taking his Latin-influenced restaurant concept to Phoenix. Province will open at the new Westin Downtown Phoenix likely in late February and will keep much of the same look and feel of the original Chicago location, but will focus on incorporating more of the seasonal ingredients available throughout the year on the West Coast.
Province will be the sole restaurant and bar in the forthcoming 180-room new hotel. The restaurant will feature 80 seats, including the intimate bar, as well as a large outdoor patio that leads to a pool. A new addition to the Province menu will be breakfast that will feature the South American and Latin influences currently found on Province’s menu, but “obviously being in a hotel, we’ll also have straightforward items,” Zweiban said.
